This  Print2Pict extension send the printed PICT files to local or remote applications using the AppleEvents.

• If the current application does not understand AppleEvents, the extesion starts the background application called Print2Pict remote deamon to send the events. This application must be on the start-up disk.

• If the local or remote application is running, it must accept the events.

• Printing under the Finder prevents from starting a local application.

• If you send the PICT files to remote applications (i.e. running on an other Macintosh), the folder containing the PICT files must be visible from this other Macintosh.
